Race Info & Map
The "Doughnuts for the Heart Challenge" is the third annual Freemason operated and managed race held in Brevard County, Florida benefiting the Cardiac Research Institute. The race is becoming one of Brevard County's most popular annual traditions. Each runner will run 2 miles. After downing a full dozen of the famous Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the runner must run the second 2 miles, all in one hour. With three classes of participants: Challenger (runner), Casual Runner (walker) and Designated Doughnut Easter (eat doughnuts), there is something for everyone.
Sunday, February 9, 2014 starting at 7:30a.m., with registration at 6:00a.am. The challenge has attracted a wide range of runners from beginners to serious competitors hailing from all corners of the state, and we expect this trend to continue. With an expected participation in excess of 500 runners, the 2014 event will be a fantastic event and should continue on for many years growing larger year after year.
